The two-storey, four-bedroom home at 159 Park Drive had been used as an investment for the vendor for the past 15 years. They had restored the property, while adding some modern features to it.
Abercromby’s Real Estate agent and auctioneer Simon Curtain said homes like Park Drive, which needed no renovation, and were priced right, were selling well.

Bidding on the property opened at $2.9 million, with a quick succession of $50,000 and $25,000 offers taking it to $3.2 million, where the home was called on the market.
